Small, sharp software
for people who actually work.

We build focused tools for freelancers, contractors and small operators — the kind of software that does one thing exceptionally well, ships in days instead of quarters, and never asks you to schedule a demo.

One tool, one job. Every time.

We don't build platforms. We build sharp little tools that solve a single, annoying problem — then we move to the next one. Here's what's shipping right now.

The math is simple. That's the point.

Most software companies grow by adding features and seats. We grow by shipping new tools. Here's what that looks like in practice.

7days
Median time from first prototype to a tool live in your hands.
1job
Each product solves a single problem. No upsells, no platform creep.
0calls
No sales demos. No pricing pages with three asterisks. Open the link, use the tool.

Founder-funded. We answer to you, not to a board.

How we ship a tool in a week.

AI gives us a draft. Taste, judgement and a thousand small decisions make it ship-worthy. Here's the full cycle, beginning to end.

01 / Spot

Find the friction

We talk to operators every week. When the same complaint surfaces three times in different rooms, it goes on the build list.

Ongoing
02 / Scope

Cut to the bone

We strip the idea down to the one job it must do. If we can't explain it in one sentence to a non-technical friend, it isn't ready.

~1 day
03 / Build

Draft, then refine

AI roughs out the working skeleton. Then we live in the product for days, polishing every interaction by hand until it feels right.

~5 days
04 / Ship

Ship, then listen

We launch quietly to a small group, fix what's broken in 48 hours, and only then put it on the front of the catalog.

Software got bloated.
We're going the other way.

The internet is full of "platforms" that want to be everything for everyone — and as a result, end up being mediocre at the one thing you actually hired them for.

Gobvantage Technologies makes the opposite bet. We build tools so small you can learn them in a minute, so focused they only have one screen worth caring about, and so honestly priced you'll wonder where the catch is. (There isn't one.)

We use AI heavily — but as a power tool, not a crutch. Every product we ship is read, tested and finished by hand. The result is software that feels like it was made by someone who actually uses it, because it was.

01

One tool, one job

Scope creep is how good software dies. We pick a single problem and solve it cleanly.

02

Days, not quarters

If a tool takes a quarter to ship, the problem changed before you got there. Ship fast, fix faster.

03

Honest pricing

No fake tiers, no usage tricks. Free where it can be free, fair where it can't.

04

Your data is yours

Export everything, anytime, in a format you can read with a text editor.

05

No dark patterns

Cancellation is one click. Downgrades don't punish. Emails from us never trick you.

The questions everyone asks first.

What does Gobvantage actually do?
We're a small build shop that ships focused software tools — currently aimed at freelancers and small operators. Our flagship is ClockSplit (time tracking that becomes invoices). More tools are in the catalog and shipping every few months.
Is this an AI company?
We use AI as part of how we build, the same way other shops use Figma or VS Code. The products themselves are normal software — they don't pipe your data to a model unless that's literally the feature. We say so explicitly when it is.
How can you ship in a week?
Two reasons. First, we scope hard — most "two week" projects are actually two days of work plus twelve days of feature creep. Second, AI handles the boring scaffolding so we can spend our actual hours on the parts a user touches.
Will you build something custom for me?
Not usually — we'd rather build one thing that helps a thousand people than one thing for one person. But if you've spotted a problem you think a lot of people share, we want to hear about it. Tell us.
Where can I follow what you're building?
Drop your email on any "Notify me" box above and you'll only hear from us when something ships. We don't run a newsletter, we don't drip-market, and we don't sell lists. Ever.
Are you hiring?
Not formally. If you're a designer or engineer who builds with the same taste we try to — small, sharp, finished — write us anyway. We file good notes.

Try the first one. It's free.

ClockSplit is live, in active use, and free for solo freelancers. No credit card, no email wall.
